Practise a conversation, not a script

Medical interviews give applicants an opportunity to explain their motivation and think through questions. We use practice stations or panel-style conversations, depending on the format your university publishes, followed by specific feedback.

What sessions can cover

Discussing experiences, communicating clearly, exploring ethical scenarios and explaining how you would approach uncertainty. Your tutor can help you recognise where an answer needs an example, a clearer structure or a more thoughtful reflection.

Use your own experiences

Bring examples from school, caring responsibilities, work, volunteering or teamwork. We help you draw out what you learned and where your understanding changed. We do not supply invented experiences or claim access to confidential interview questions.

Check the invitation

Interview arrangements vary by school and application year. Read the university’s instructions for format, timing and any preparation tasks before agreeing a practice plan.

How tutoring works

  1. Assessment. Tell us your subjects, qualification, exam board and goals.
  2. Tutor match. We consider subject needs, learning style and your medicine or engineering pathway. Confirm exam-board coverage and availability before starting.
  3. Online lessons. Work through explanations, practice and feedback with your tutor.
  4. Parent updates. Monthly progress reports explain what is improving and what comes next.

What does tutoring cost?
